How Much are You Worth?

How does one value their self worth? How smart you are? How many people like you? How many friends you have, degrees you’ve received? How pretty you are, how giving you are? How do you determine your value? How do you determine what you’re worth?

I’ve pondered over this quite a bit, especially in terms of what I deserve. Whether it be in a relationship, career, friends, family, how do I determine what I am owed, what I am worth, what I deserve?

Well, God answered that question for me today. I have a bible app that gives me a daily verse at noon everyday as a notification on my phone.

“God paid a price for you. So use your body to honor God.” 1 Corinthians 6:20

1 Corinthians just keeps showing up in my daily quiet time. But today I have my answer. You can’t put a value on my worth. Because God paid a price for me that even the wealthiest can’t match. Don’t allow someone to tell you what you are worth, because God placed the ultimate value on you before you were even born. And as long as I have breath in my body I will honor Him.

I deserve it all. I am worth it all. And I owe it all to Him. Thank God for His grace and mercy that continues to overflow in my life, and the miraculous favor that He continues to show me, even when I continue to fail, even when I don’t deserve it.

I hope Sunday has been as good to you so far as it has been to me. Know that you are so valuable, that there is no way to measure it! Happy Sunday all!

“No one can pay a price for you, because it has already been paid. You have been deemed the most valuable and no one can diminish your worth.” -STW
